Google Should NOT Hire Me....but seriously, they should

googleshouldNOThireme.com A website that perpetuates the notion that Google should probably not hire me based on other candidates, but I in fact do hope they do.

Google should hire ME because I have www.MicrosoftShouldHireMe.com

These things are a great idea. I started this years ago, but not quite so blatantly.

Been trying to get into MS or Google for a few months now so, within 3 hours of seeing this I created www.MicrosoftShouldHireMe.com

I put phpBB on there! Have Fun! GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

Here's a bit about me:

We all have technical proficiencies that can be learned, used and then forgotten. Knowledge comes packaged in many forms, shapes and sizes that can be bought and digested so we can put this on our resume and say “I know that!” This is great! It truly is! It shows how much we value knowledge!

The thing is: what do we do with it? Over the last ten years or so, I’ve been in the peculiar position where I would discover what I think is a shockingly simple answer: ANYTHING! Really! If you set your mind to it, you will get it. What a cliché! Well, not for me!

You see, I grew up with CP in an environment in which if I would never be able to walk, have a job or lead a “normal” life, I would have been taken care of. That did not sit well with me. I discovered that knowledge is a tricky thing; it works in most cases but not in all. In new situations, environments, conditions (like my CP) and on the leading edge of … anything, it serves as a great foundation; however without ingenuity and action nothing will move forward.

I have spent my entire life discovering new ways to do things, improving on the existing and being smart enough to realize when the wheel as we know it will do just fine.

In those ten years (since the age of 17), I have been involved with several non profit organizations that wanted to (and still do) change the status quo and who are adoptive of new technologies in order to reach their goals. Together, we have changed the way students learn about new technologies in the classroom (Oakland Schools), have given an entire poverty stricken area of Detroit free access to information, communication, life skill oriented classes, a sense of purpose, community and sustainability. All this required knowledge and technical proficiencies, but without ingenuity, action, perseverance and the application there of, none of this would have happened.

So, what does all this have to do with getting hired by Google or Microsoft? They get it! I am but one person who although has accomplished a lot, now wants to do it on a much larger scale! Being companies that from the beginning have changed the status quo, and did so in very ingenious ways, I resonate with them. You could say that almost every civilized person has been in some way touched by Microsoft and will by Google. How do I fit in you may ask? The answer is: Designing and implementing highly complex computer based solutions with an emphasis on security. I just have a passion for coming up with solutions where others only see problems and limitations. This is my true ability.

My other site www.x-miles.com has almost anything you’d like to know about me.

Thanks for your interest!

Start now and never give up!
A wise person once said

This site is just for fun

It's something to do with chasing your dreams, even if those dreams are as sensible as just having a job.

We saw this site www.twittershouldhireme.com/ and thought, hey that's a great idea, but twitter drives us to distraction. Each to their own .... We really like what Jamie Varon is doing, she has a dream and we hope she gets that job.

Google to us is also very inspiring. We have no end of marvel looking and exploring. There really isn't enough time in the day for paid employment and watching what google is doing.

So if you're like us and am inspired by google then.

Let the world know.
Submit your thoughts on the matter. Good spelling and good grammar and an essential so don't make a mess.
